Mr. John Hill began teaching at SJCS in 2016, and he will now also teach classes at SJCHS beginning with the 2022-2023 school year.  Mr. Hill has nearly 35 years of teaching experience in both the public and private sectors of schools.  He has taught both in the special education classroom setting as well as inclusive/differentiated classrooms, grades Kindergarten through 8th.  Mr. Hill earned both his Bachelors of Education and a Masters of Education from Ohio University, and he has since earned numerous graduate hours from Ohio University.  Mr. Hill loves teaching and leading thought-provoking discussions as well as facilitating student-driven activities in his middle school Theology classroom. He is married to Stephanie, SJCS RLA teacher, and they have one daughter, Madelyn, a 2017 graduate of both SJCS and SJCHS.  Mr. Hill is passionate about reading and learning as much as he can about a wide variety of subject matter, which he brings daily to his classroom.  He loves fishing–especially in the Canadian wilderness, traveling, music, and spending time with friends and family.
