Good evening parents and students. This is a school reach message from St. Joseph Central Catholic High School, welcoming you to the 2014-15 school year!

The parent student handbook is on our website for everyone to review. Students and parents are to review its content and sign and return the consent form that is located in the back of the handbook to their homeroom teachers.

This Wednesday is the first day of school. New students are to report at 9am and returning students at 10am with everyone being dismissed at 3pm. We will be operating on Schedule E – the 2 hour delay schedule. Students must be in uniform. We will be providing free lunch and drinks for the students on Wednesday from Gino’s. New lunch menus are being put together and will be sent home with students on Wednesday and will be available soon on our website for download. We will be ordering Jimmy John’s on Thursday and Fazoli’s on Friday. All lunch orders MUST be placed and paid for before 8am – We highly recommend you order once a week for the entire week.

Summer reading assignments and calculus homework is due on Wednesday. Students need to turn these in to their teachers during their scheduled class time, not before school starts.

Any questions about schedules need to be addressed with Mrs. Appell. Changes to schedules will be permitted through the first week of classes.

Lockers, books and homeroom teachers will be assigned during this first week of school. Students will be given syllabi for each class and will be told of the supplies needed for each class.

If your child is taking Algebra II and Geometry together this year – the entrance exam will be given on Wednesday and Thursday after school from 3:15 – 4:15. Students only need to stay for one day, not both.

If you have any questions, please call the school between 8am and 3pm. Thank you and have a great evening!
