Karri Sarka Fischer

Biography: Mrs. Fischer graduated from Fairland High School (1994) in Proctorville, Ohio and then attended Marshall University.  She was involved in student government, multiple flute ensembles and orchestras, and was a member of Alpha Xi Delta and Phi Theta Kappa.  She has an Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies from Marshall University (1999), a Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Care from Marshall University/St. Mary's Center for Education (2009), and a Masters in Education - Educational Leadership from Wheeling Jesuit University (2016).  She is currently working on her Ed.D. in Education in Transformational Leadership at Concordia University, Portland (2020).  Mrs. Fischer is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and discovered her passion and love for our schools in 2006 when she volunteered on the committee to raise funds to build the new St. Joseph Catholic School.  This is also where she met her husband, Andy, and they were married in 2012.  She has a daughter, Kadin (St. Joseph Class of 2016; Bethany College Class of 2020), loves the Cleveland Browns and truly is a crazy bird lady with four parrots - Kiwi, Sampson, Rosie and Jasper.
